What is my background?
· Originally from SE Kentucky but mostly raised in West Virginia
· BA James Madison University in Harrisonburg VA – History and English
· Married over 30 years with 4 stepchildren who are grown and widely dispersed across the country. They are all great people and have also made me a Mimi to seven grandchildren that I see far too seldom.
What is my professional background?
· Turner Ashby High School in Rockingham Co. VA – English
· Rockingham Insurance headquartered in Harrisonburg VA – 25 years in a variety of roles – mostly in Operations and IT arenas.
· Member Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chamber of Commerce
· Board member Shenandoah Valley Technology Council and former President
· Leader in our church over the past 25 years in various capacities
· Coaching business launched 2021.
What do I like to do?
· Read/learn/grow – I have a stack of books waiting for me. But I tend to bite off more than I can chew so expect to always have a stack of books waiting.
· Coach – I really love to coach people and help them awaken to new dreams and possibilities.
· Travel – I love travel but don’t get a chance to do it often enough. My husband and I are planning a return trip to Finland for next year. Before that happens, we’re looking for a warm place with waves lapping white sand. We’ll see.
· Hang out with close friends, family, and pets – We currently have one very emotionally attached dog and one cat who is very attached to warm laps.
